Distributed Caching Solutions – Velocity is a good sign
Been going around different blogs which mentioned Microsoft’s Velocity in one way or another, seems like distributed caching is becoming a household name after Microsoft released Velocity. It’s a good sign that a software giant like Microsoft jumped into this arena because, i think, this is a opportunity for all the companies who were into to this domain to get out in the open.

Flickr announces new uploading tool
Flickr recently releaded version 3.1.3 of their Flickr Uploadr. Its a nice tool with some very nice features.
When you first start it you have to login into your flickr account, once done, its lets you choose multiple files to be uploaded. It lets you add tags, categories plus privacy policies.
You can also do all of this offline. Overall its a great tool. must give it a try.
